About me

You made it and I am so glad you're here! Let me start off by telling you a little about me and my outlook on therapy. I am super casual, personable, real, and approachable. Judgement is completely out the window as I am human too and am in no position to judge anyone, let alone my clients. You trusting me to be vulnerable and authentic is *chefs kiss* and such an important part of your therapeutic journey that I want to ensure that you always feel comfortable doing it.

For me, I believe that mental health is one of the most crucial parts of a person and needs to be maintained. Any journey a person faces in life can be made a little more manageable mentally if they are in a strong place. I recognize that seeking help may not be easy, whether you are just beginning or continuing your therapeutic journey. However, seeking help is a powerful and courageous step to take in your life. We, as human beings, all experience our share of life stressors and struggles that affect our lives. How we allow these stressors to affect our lives is the most important aspect. At my core, I am a naturally empathetic person; I believe that everyone has the capacity in themselves to live up to their true potential, and I want to help you see that as well.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is client-centered and humanistic with integrated, evidence-based interventions, such as EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I tend to pull from a variety of modalities so that I can tailor your therapeutic journey to better fit your individual needs and goals. Working with me is very casual yet structured; I will challenge you to explore conscious and unconscious aspects of your life to assist you in meeting your full potential so that you can live a prosperous and joyous life. If you are interested in working with me, I would suggest a consultation first to see if we are a good match for each other. It is so important to feel as though the relationship is a good match because that makes for the best outcomes for you. After the consultation, we will work collaboratively to develop goals and schedule a time to meet on a consistent basis.
